Stephen Glass helped Aberdeen win the League Cup as a player in 1995 - now he's confident he can secure silverware as a manager too.
He insists that never having been a boss in Scotland won't be a handicap : " I'm 44 years old, I've had a pro license for 7 or 8 years and have been a coach for 12 or 13. I don't consider myself a rookie. I'm ready for this job".
A Summer squad re-build's on the cards for Glass and he says he knows what areas need strengthening and who he might want to bring in.
However he refused to comment on continued links with Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths. "It's not right, it's not respectable to him, to the players at our club as well. Leigh Griffiths is a Celtic player - that's all there is to it".
Stephen Glass take charge of his 1st game this weekend as Aberdeen host Livingston in the Scottish Cup.
