It's been open for less than a week but already places are fully booked to check out the view from the top of Inverness Castle for the rest of the week.

It's expected to draw 1,100-locals wishing to visit the Castle Viewpoint at the top of the landmark's North Tower for free until Saturday, when adults will then have to pay £5 and kids under 12 will be charged £3.
Graham Cross, the commercial manager at operator High Life Highland, told MFR News why the site's opened later than planned: "It was quite a complicated renovation, and there was a problem sourcing some of the stone, so it took a bit longer than we thought.

"Excitement was rising, with lots of people anticipating being able to get up the tower.
"We didn't think demand would be quite as heavy, but it has been, and there have been a lot of disappointed people who haven't been able to get up, but we've had to manage the numbers as we have done to make sure that the people who did get up have had a good experience."
