GALLERY: How can congestion be cut in the Highland capital?

Options revealed for A9/A82 Longman Junction Improvement Scheme.

Plans have been revealed to combat congestion at one of the Highland capital's busiest roundabouts.

Transport Scotland wants to know what you think about five options (pictured in our gallery below) being considered for the Longman Roundabout at the Kessock Bridge.

It links the A9 and A82, but the traffic system is plagued by delays from queuing traffic during peak travel.

Government funding towards the £315million Inverness City Region Deal will be used in construction of the countermeasure to replace the junction.
