Fundraising target reached for Inverness girl's new wheelchair
Sophia Walsh is now able to take part in more activities
A 10-year-old girl who has a form of cerebral palsy has had her confidence boosted with the help of a new wheelchair.
Sophia Walsh, from Inverness, lives with quadriplegic dystonic cerebral palsy which affects all her limbs.
In September, a Facebook fundraiser was set up with a target of ÂŁ25,000 to buy the new chair which enables Sophia to stand up independently.
ÂŁ3000 of this was raised through MFR's Cash for Kids.
The target was raised in just three months and Sophia's mum Tracey has thanked the people of Inverness and the Highlands for making her wish come true.
