THERE is a fresh appeal for information after a woman was killed in an acident with a lorry.

Chloe Morrison, 26, from Drumnadrochit died after she was struck around 1.10pm on Friday, 25 October.

Road policing officers are continuing to work to establish the full circumstances of the crash and are continuing to appeal for any witnesses.

Inquiries carried out so far have established that the lorry had travelled from Uig on the Isle of Skye along the A87 and A887, joining the A82 northbound at Invermoriston.

The vehicle is described as a flatbed Scania HGV equipped with a HIAB crane.

Sergeant Ewan Calder, of Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit, said: "We are continuing a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances of this tragic incident.

"As part of these inquiries we would be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the lorry on the road before the collision happened.

"I would urge anyone who may have travelled along any part of the route between Uig and Drumnadrochit last Friday to consider whether they may have seen the lorry and let us know if they have. Anyone who may have dashcam footage is asked to review this and let us know if you find anything of note.

"Chloe's family and friends remain very much in our thoughts while we carry out this work.
