Ross County go in search of back-to-back victories for only the second time this season, as they look to make it seven undefeated in the Premiership.

Following on from their victory over Aberdeen, County host Partick Thistle, with ex-Jags goalkeeper Scott Fox eager to keep up momentum.

"The last few weeks we have done really well. We deserve more points than we should have got and it's a run we are proud of and we hope to continue"

Last time out, 10-man County defeated Aberdeen, despite a red for Kenny Van Der Weg, with Liam Boyce and Ryan Dow on target. Fox said:

"On Saturday, the way we played we had a lot of the ball. We had more chances if you look at the game as a whole, it just shows you how far we have come and we just want to continue it now"

Fox spent almost five seasons at Firhill and last time out when County played in Glasgow they earned a 1-1 with Chris Burke's late leveller.

"They're a good side, we know that from when we played them down there. They had the bulk of posession and they created a few chances and we were lucky to get a draw from it"

"One win puts Partick a point behind us, so we know how tight the league and our need for wins is just as great as well"

"All games are going to be hard, and their position right now is not where they should be, they should be higher"

That said, County take the confidence from their recent showings, which as well as Saturday, include games against Rangers, St Johnstone, Hamilton, Hearts and Dundee.

"We're on a good run but have drawn a few of the games and we just hope for a victory to take us into the New Year"

County - despite their late equaliser in October's 1-1 draw at Firhill - could've even snatched the win against Partick. Ryan Dow came close in stoppage time as County pressed for a winner.

Fox said, "We are a fit side, and worked hard in pre-season and in training every week and we know we have the legs to go a full 90 minutes if need be"

"It's going to be tough on Friday and we hope to get a good positive result and keep the run going ahead of the Celtic match"

Jay McEveley's back available for selection after a ban, with Kenny Van Der Weg now suspended. Also out are Michael Gardyne and Chris Burke.
