Four detained after Inverness disturbance

Four people have now been detained by police over a disturbance in Inverness city centre yesterday afternoon, Thursday 3rd August.

It happened in Church Street around 2.00pm – two men and two women are being held.

Inverness Inspector Alex Chisholm said: “We’ve had a number of calls from members of the public offering information in relation to this incident and I would like to thank them for their assistance. We do not require any further witnesses at this stage but we are extremely grateful for the help provided so far. "
