Five Inverness Boozers Up For National Award

Five Inverness pubs and clubs are in the running from a top national prize.

The Kings Highway, Auctioneers, Johnny Foxes, G's and Arts Bar are all shortlisted in the Best Bar None Awards.

The winner will be announced in a ceremony in Edinburgh next month.

Craig Duncan, Chair of Inverness BID who coordinate the local BBN award assessment process and award ceremony said: "We are delighted that once again Inverness will be represented at these National Awards, not only does it recognise the hard work of these particular premises but also the overall contribution all our licensed establishments make to keeping the city centre safe and welcoming.

"With the National Judges reporting that the standard this year being exceptional, this success confirms that our licensed premises, if you compare area to area, continue to over perform."
