Private aircraft reports smoke in cockpit over Inverness airspace
Inverness Airport has declared an emergency after an approaching aircraft reported smoke in the cockpit.
The small private plane was coming into land just after 10am this morning when emergency services were alerted.
Firefighters from Inverness and Nairn rushed to the tarmac but were stood down after an inspection.
No one was injured.
