Crews deal with major fire at school in Invergordon

It is the second blaze to rip through Park Primary in a year

Fire crews are putting out a blaze at a primary school in Invergordon.

They were first alerted to the incident at Park Primary School at around 7 o'clock this morning.

It is the second major fire at the site within the space of a year.

MFR News understands multiple appliances from Tain, Invergordon, Dingwall and Inverness fire stations are still on the scene.

Councillor for Cromarty Firth, Maxine Morley-Smith, said: "My thoughts are with all affected, but everyone including the council are here working flat out to solve this and find a way forward."

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
