Fire At Farm Near Dingwall

Fire crews were called to a blaze on the outskirts of Dingwall this morning.

Fire crews were called to a blaze on the outskirts of Dingwall this morning.

The fire occurred within a steading at Drynies Farm.

Local residents were asked to keep their windows and doors closed and remain indoors until smoke clears.

The blaze has since been extinguished. Police say mechanical equipment as well as a number of hay and straw bales were damaged, but that no people or animals were injured.
