Tannadice fan shout "derogatory rather than racial", clubs agree
Both Hibs and Dundee United have accepted the shout came from the away end, but say the "likelihood" is the comment wasn't racial

Both Hibernian and Dundee United have issued fresh statements on an incident during their match at Tannadice Park on Tuesday night.
In video footage taken late on in the match a fan can be heard shouting a comment towards the pitch as Hibs player Jair Tavares looked to retrieve the ball for a throw-in.
Some users on Twitter believed the language used was racially motivated.
However, others believed the comment involved the use of the word "Fat" rather than "Black".
Now in a statement both clubs, as well as the host broadcaster for the match, say they've agreed the shout was likely "derogatory rather than racial."
They've also agreed the shout came from the stand housing away fans.
The statement from Hibs says: "Following feedback from the host broadcaster and analysis of the audio mics available, both clubs unequivocally accept the shout came from the stand housing the away fans.
"While there is no conclusive proof to confirm the words used by the offender, all parties are in agreement, based on the evidence available, that the likelihood is the comment was derogatory rather than racial.
"In no way does this make the abuse acceptable, but it is clear that the initial media clip proved an unreliable and skewed representation of the incident.
"With the permission of the SPFL, both clubs are happy to share footage which gives better context to the situation."
