Loved ones of a bus driver who was allegedly murdered in Elgin say their "world has been shattered" following his death.

Keith Rollinson was taken to Dr Gray's hospital after the incident at the town's bus station on Friday evening.

He died a short time later.

The 58-year-old's family have now released a statement calling Keith their "rock."

They said: "On Friday February 2nd, the kindest, dedicated and loving husband and father was taken from us.

"Our world has been shattered and we can't see us ever getting over our loss of our rock.

“We would like to ask for privacy at this time to deal with the loss without intrusion.”

A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court on Monday, charged with murder.

Appearing privately, the teenager made no plea and was committed for further examination.

For legal reasons, the boy cannot be named.
