Family issue appeal on missing man
Alan Fowler has not been seen since Friday.
The family of a missing Bunchrew man have issued a social media appeal asking anyone with information to come forward.
Alan Fowler has not been seen since Friday afternoon with his daughter taking to Facebook to help find him.
Rebecca Fowler has asked locals to 'keep their eyes peeled.'
She said: 'He has left his wallet at home, but we think he may have taken one of his bank cards with him and his phone seems to be switched off or out of battery.
'He is not in a great frame of mind and is very vulnerable at the moment.
'The police are involved and are actively looking for him but I would appreciate if anyone local could keep their eyes peeled and either contact myself or 101 if they think they might have seen him.
'There is also a possibility he might have travelled out of Inverness.'
An appeal has also been launched by police to try and find him.
Police Scotland said: 'Alan is described as white, around 6 ft 3 ins, with short brown hair.
'When last seen, he was wearing a brown leather jacket and blue jeans.
'He is believed to have travelled to the city centre of Inverness but there have been no further reported sightings of him.
'He has connections in the Dornie area, as well as Dundee and Dunfermline.'
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police in Inverness on 101, quoting reference number 1103 of 11 January.
