The family of Jason Gates, missing from the Drumnadrochit area, have released an emotional appeal for the 39-year-old to make contact: “As a family, we’re very grateful to members of the emergency services who continue the search for Jason. We’d like to thank members of the local community for their assistance and to everyone who has shared the appeal via social media" “It’s been over three weeks since we’ve heard from Jason and we are increasingly anxious. We'd also like to appeal to Jason directly: if you can see this message, please make contact so we know you’re okay. We just want you to be safe and to be reunited as a family" “Any information, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, may assist in bringing Jason back to us and so we would urge anyone who can help to get in touch” As the search for Jason continues, Inspector Ian Graham added: “We would appeal to anyone undertaking outdoor activities to keep an eye out for anything that may help us trace Jason" "we are very concerned for his welfare. This week we have officers and police dogs carrying out detailed searches around Drumnadrochit area and would continue to appeal to local residents in particular to check outbuildings and sheds in case Jason has sought shelter.” Anyone with information on Jason’s whereabouts or if anyone has information to assist the investigation they are urged to contact Police on 101
