Ross County co-manager Stuart Kettlewell believes the competition between their combinations in attack will continue to develop in the coming games.

The Staggies hit back for a late share of the spoils at Hamilton and now head into the match against Aberdeen looking for their first win since September.

The game at New Douglas Park saw Billy McKay open the scoring early on, but a strong showing from the Accies at the restart had County pegged back 2-1.

Brian Graham then picked up his fifth of the season on 88 minutes for the 2-2 draw. The striker with 15 appearances so far this term, but only three of those have been in the starting XI.

Kettlewell said, '(Brian's) disappointed not to start the game, but you see the impact he has when he comes on the pitch. Brian's involved in all these things, and we know the impact that he has. The disappointment comes from not starting the game, but you see by his reaction and the attitude when he comes on the pitch, and the influence he has on us'

The County co-manager also praised the impact of Lee Erwin after the striker made his first league appearance.

It was Erwin's shot which was saved, with McKay turning in the rebound to give County the lead.

Kettlewell said: 'He's had a long road back to fitness and we believe he can be a huge player for us'

'He played his part in the build-up and it was good to see Billy McKay scoring again because some of his recent performances have merited a goal.'

McKay with only his second of the season, but Kettlewell believes there's no lack of work-rate from the former Caley Thistle man.

It's now Aberdeen who head north to face Ross County this coming Saturday, with the Dons recording a 3-0 win over County last time out in August. It was also 3-0 at the weekend, as Aberdeen responded to their humbling at the hands of Celtic with a comfortable victory over Killie.
