A TEENAGER has pleaded guilty to committing sex crimes against three children aged between four and 10-years-old.

Connor Ballantyne,18, admitted raping a four-year-old girl at an address in Dufftown, Moray between December 1 2011 and October 17 2012.

He also admitted forcing a 10-year-old boy to perform a sex act on him at an address in Elgin between November and December 2012.

Ballantyne also pleaded guilty to a charge of performing another sex act on another 10-year-old boy, also at a location in Elgin.

The story emerged following a hearing at the High Court in Edinburgh today in which Ballantyne, of Elgin, Moray, pleaded guilty to the offences before judge Lord Stewart.

The judge deferred sentence on Ballantyne to a hearing at the High Court at Glasgow on July 9 2015.

It is expected that the court will hear the circumstances surrounding Ballantyne's offending behaviour and that his defence team will address the judge in mitigation on that date.
