Murder suspect unfit to stand trial following October death near Elgin
Frank Kinnis died in October, while two others both aged 70 were injured
A 35-year-old man accused of murdering an 83-year-old at Birkenhill Woods near Elgin is unfit to stand trial.
David Johnstone did not appear at the High Court in Glasgow and is being detained at the State Hospital.
He was accused of murdering Frank Kinnis back in October and also attempting to murder Morris and Janette Smith (both aged 70).
No plea has been entered on Mr Johnstone's behalf.
It is also alleged he assaulted two Police Officers on October 21st as well.
An examination of facts will take place on July 27th at the High Court in Edinburgh.
