Drugs and money recovered in police operation in the Highlands

Drugs with a street value of around £20,000 have been recovered following an intelligence led operation in the Dingwall area.

The drugs suspected to be cocaine, heroin and diazepam were recovered following enforcement action at a property on Friday, 18 August.

A high four figure sum of money was also recovered.

As a result two men, aged 54 and 33 have been detained and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Chief Inspector Michael Sutherland said:''This further recovery, continues to evidence our commitment to disrupt those attempting to profit through harm. Do not tolerate these people, help us by identifying those involved at any level.
