Draw specialists ICT return to Raith Rovers seeking much-needed win
Inverness still six off the play-offs, but wary that others are also improving
The Springtime slog of battling through a fixture backlog continues as Inverness face their fifth week of double-shifts.
After Friday at home to Raith Rovers it's now Tuesday at Rovers' Stark's Park with Caley Thistle eager to keep in touch with the Championship play-off hopefuls.
They sit 6 points off that goal, but given their recent run of draws, they now find themselves in danger at the foot of the table.
The 0-0 in Inverness on Friday was their ninth stalemate of the season so far.
Both Caley Thistle and Raith Rovers had chances to win that match, with a goalmouth scramble and a Sean Welsh header off the post for the home side.
Now seventh place Inverness travel to Stark's Park, wary that Rovers are eager to strengthen their challenge at the other end of the table.
Tuesday night sees Billy Dodds in his first match alongside interim boss Neil McCann having joined the backroom team at ICT.
Dodds believes he's seen enough from recent performances that shows Inverness can deliver more, but first of all they need to take the steps to pull clear from the bottom of the Championship.
