Dog Lover In Plea For Help For Badly Injured Stray
A Highland woman's making a desperate bid to raise cash to get vital vet treatment for a dog plucked to safety from the streets of Romania.
Amanda Leask rescued Phoenix, who was destined to live in a shelter crammed with other strays, and brought him to her home in Strathglass.
The dog lover needs to raise £2,000 to get his badly damaged leg treated.
Crown Vets in Inverness have agreed to carry out the work and so far Amanda has raised just over £300.00
She has set up a Just Giving page on the crowdfunding site of the charity site.
