A Forres family are in a race against time to raise thousands of pounds to save a 3 year old girl from cancer.

Little Eileidh Paterson needs £100,000 to take part in clinical trials in the U.S.

She was diagnosed with an agressive form of Neuroblastoma last year.

It carries with it a high risk of life threatening relapse.

The plan would see her undergo pioneering treatment at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Michigan.

However, they only have until the summer to raise the cash to get her there in time.

“We must raise £100,000 by June 2015 to make treatment possible for Eileidh”, says Gail Paterson, Eileidh’s mother.

“Our hearts broke the day we found out she had cancer.

"Eileidh deserves the chance to live a full and happy life - which most of us take for granted.

"We need your help to piece our wounded hearts back together and make our family whole again.”
