Deal Urged to Avert North Sea Strike

Unite's being urged to get back round the table with oil bosses, and come to a deal on terms and conditions.

That call's from the GMB union, whose members have accepted the controversial three week on, three off shift pattern.

Unite members have rejected it by two to one, raising fears of a walkout in the North Sea.

It means there could be more talks with the Offshore Contractors Association to come to a new agreement.
