Two Aberdeenshire schoolboys have managed to sail a toy boat all the way to Scandanavia as part of a family challenge.
Ollie, 8, and Harry. 5, have received messages from Denmark, Sweden and Norway after letting the plastic vessel go at Peterhead.
The ship's journey will now be extended to Columbia and beyond, with sailors on board the Christian Radich promising to take it with them on their journey from Scandanavia to South America.
After it passed trials in a swimming pool, they took it to the coast and launched it into the waves.
It carries a message asking anyone who finds the boat to send them a picture and launch Adventure back into the sea.
The Turriff brothers are trying to complete a total of 500 challenges before they turn 18-years-old.
So far, they have completed 207 adventures - posting details about each one to Facebook, under the name "The Days Are Just Packed".
Their father Mac Ferguson told Northsound: "We used their old Playmobil pirate ship and made it sea worthy, we attached weight to the bottom to give it some balance so that it self rights just like a lifeboat and we filled it with polystyrene so it was impossible to sink.
"We put our name, address and contact details in and asked people to get in touch if they found it.
"The list of 500 adventures is purely our way of doing more things as a family and engaging the children in doing outdoor activities and being involved and engaged in the world around them."
