A9 closed after serious road crash
A crash involving multiple cars has closed the A9 forced drivers to take a long diversion.
Around 8.30am on Wednesday 31 July two cars were involved in a serious crash between Dornoch and Golspie.
The exact location is between The Mound on the A839 and B9168 Poles.
No details about anyone involved have been revealed including any injuries drivers suffered during the serious crash.
A long diversion via Lairg was put in place.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said:
'We received a call at 08:25 hours today to attend a road traffic collision on the A9 between Golspie and Dornoch. Two ambulances and a BASICS Doctor were dispatched and are teams are still currently working on scene.'
