Highland League side Clachnacuddin say a Christmas Eve blaze at the club has caused "catastrophic damage"
Around 9:30am on Tuesday the alarm was raised at Grant Street Park, with concern for a fire which had broken out in the home dressing room and kit store.
The club in a statement say that the incident appears to be as a result of an "electrical fault"
Four appliances were tasked with bringing the fire under control with crews on site until around lunchtime, with thanks for those firefighters in preventing further disaster for the Lilywhites.
"We would like to pass on our deepest gratitude to the officers from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for their swift and professional actions which prevented a much more severe outcome"
The statement also said, "Secondly we are extremely grateful that nobody was hurt or involved in what could have developed into an extremely dangerous situation"
"The club have been in contact with the SHFL and will continue to keep them updated on what will now become a major repair and refurbishment project"
