Elgin City boss Allan Hale has picked up the Scottish League Two Glen’s Manager of the Month award for October as the Moray club continue their unbeaten domestic run.

City secured victories in both away games played during October, with a 1-0 win against Peterhead and 3-1 victory over The Spartans, securing the full six points available.

Elgin City now sit joint-top at the summit of League 2 alongside East Fife.

City boss Hale, said: “I’m genuinely honoured to receive the Glen’s Manager of the Month award.

This recognition is a reflection of the hard work put in by everyone at the club – from the coaching staff and players to the board and our loyal supporters. It’s a collective effort, and this achievement belongs to all of us together.

“We’re committed to improving further, building on this momentum and pushing forward with the same dedication and unity.”

Elgin City this weekend take on Bonnyrigg Rose, having played them in September in delivering a late-late comeback at Borough Briggs.

Olly McDonald's goal on 88 minutes, followed up by Russell Dingwall's goal in stoppage time, helped the Black & Whites to a 2-1 success.

It's now 11 games unbeaten for City, following their 6 wins and 5 draws.
