CCTV images released after Moray assault

Police believe the man in the pictures may be able to help with a serious assault which happened in Elgin.

Officers investigating an Elgin attack have released pictures of a man they believe may have information on the incident.

Police believe he may be able to help with a serious assault which happened Ladyhill Carpark, Elgin.

The attack took place on February 26th at around 1:25am.

CCTV images show a man, who is described as white, aged 35 to 50-years-old, around 5ft 8ins and of stocky build.

He was wearing a black Puffa style jacket, a dark t-shirt with a red coloured logo on the front, dark coloured jeans and dark footwear.

Police Scotland has released images of a man they believe may hold information which might assist in relation to a serious assault at Ladyhill Carpark, Elgin.

The incident happened around 1.25am on Saturday, 26 February, 2022.

The man is described as white, aged 35 to 50-years-old, around 5ft 8ins and of stocky build. He was wearing a black Puffa style jacket, a dark t-shirt with a red coloured logo on the front, dark coloured jeans and dark footwear.

Police Constable Martin Burkinshaw, of Elgin Police Office, said: "I would urge anyone who has information relating to the man depicted in these images, or the man himself, to make contact with the police.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0319 of Saturday, 26 February, 2022.

"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously."
