Police have appealed for information following incidents of carpet tacks being strewn across a section of Coulardbank Road in Lossiemouth.

As a result, a number of vehicles using the road have suffered tyre punctures.
PC Alison Cooper said: "Incidents like this can cause unnecessary damage to passing vehicles and can have serious consequences. I don't need to spell out the hazard that damaged car tyres can cause, let alone the financial impact to the many victims. I would urge local residents to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to Police.
"Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
