Chairmen from Highland top two football clubs help with shinty's premiere event
The draw for the 2nd Round of the 2016 Camanachd Cup competition has been made in Inverness. Making the draw were Kenny Cameron, Chairman of Caley Thistle, and Roy MacGregor, Chairman of Ross County. Displayed at the draw alongside shinty’s greatest prize, the Camanachd Cup, were Scottish football’s Utilita League Cup (currently held by Ross County) and The William Hill Scottish Cup (held by Caley Thistle). Details of today's draw are as follows: • Caberfeidh V Kinlochshiel • Fort William V Kilmallie/Aberdour • Lovat V Newtonmore • Kyles Athletic V Oban Celtic • Taynuilt/GMA V Skye • Beauly V Inveraray • Oban Camanachd V Glenurquhart Matches are scheduled to be played on Saturday May 28th.
