Caley Players In City Centre Disturbance

2 players were involved in an incident in Inverness on Sunday morning.

2 Caley Thistle players were stopped by police for breach of the peace in Inverness city centre at the weekend.

The incident - involving 3 men in their 20's - happened on Castle Wynd at 3:10am on Sunday.

Each of them were issued with fixed penalty notices.

A police spokesperson said: "At approximately 03:11 hours on Sunday 15 February 2015, police officers who were on foot patrol in Inverness attended a minor disturbance on Castle Wynd.

"3 men in their 20's were issued fixed penalty notices in connection with the incident.

"No-one was injured."

A spokesperson for the club said: "The matter has been dealt with internally and as far as the club is concerned is now closed."
