Budget signed off in Moray - but only by two votes

Moray Council approved its budget by just two votes last night.

Moray Council approved its budget by just two votes last night.

The vote was 13 - 11 for the Independent /Conservative administration, supported by Labour councillor John Divers.

The SNP opposition budget was supported by non-aligned Conservative councillor Douglas Ross.

It took councillors two hours to debate the issue.
