A local chef has opened his new Boeing 737 kitchen, built using a second-hand part from a former aircraft.

Chef Andrew Mellon picked up the piece for only ÂŁ149 during lockdown, before renovating it into a fully functioning kitchen, operating completely off-grid.

The 280 square feet also has an upstairs bedroom, meaning guests can stay overnight after an evening of fine dining.
