Relatives of a 64-year-old woman have been informed following the discovery of a body in the River Nairn on Sunday.
The alarm was raised yesterday morning near the Caravan Park.
A post-mortem has still to take place, but officers aren't treating it as suspicious.
The body was spotted in the River Nairn at around 9am before it was recovered a short time later near the harbour.
Members of the public are thanked for their response to the Police appeal for information.
