Body Discovered At Portsoy House
The find was made in a property in Soy Avenue about 11pm last night.
The body of a 36-year-old man has been found in a house in Aberdeenshire.
Police were called to the property in Soy Avenue of Portsoy about 11:00pm last night.
Officers are investigating the discovery of 'unknown substances' at the address.
The death is being treated as unexplained, but there's not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
A police spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that at approximately 2300 hours on Sunday 12 April 2015, officers attended a residential property in the Soy Avenue area of Portsoy where the body of a deceased 36 year old male was found within.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
"As is normal procedure with all sudden deaths, a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
