A Black Isle care home has gone viral with their dance routine to a classic hit.

Residents and staff at Eilean Dubh in Fortrose have clocked up 1.1 million views on TikTok after they were filmed performing to the song to ‘Is This The Way To Amarillo.’

Social media users responded in their thousands to praise the team at Eilean Dubh, with comments such as: "Brilliant, this needs to be celebrated nationally spreading the joy of care homes."

One viewer said: "This is what a good care home looks like."

Another added: "Wish all care homes were as lovely as this. The residents look very well cared for and very happy."

Another video posted this week of the team exercising to Olivia Newton John’s ‘Let’s Get Physical’ has been seen by more than 740,00 people worldwide and liked more than 101,000 times.

Acting manager Jackie Macrae said: “We’re always amazed at how many people watch our videos but the response to these latest videos has been incredible.

"We regularly use social media to show our residents having fun and TikTok makes it possible to reach a much larger worldwide audience.

"The residents at Eilean Dubh love to sing and dance and we’re delighted that so many people get a lot of joy out of watching them."
