Biker killed in Inverness crash
It happened in the early hours of Saturday 29th June.
A motorcyclist has died in a crash in the early hours of this morning in Inverness.
The 33-year-old man was heading towards the city centre on Culduthel Road when a collision happened at around 3.10am on Saturday.
His family have been told.
Culduthel Road was closed between Drummond Road and Cauldean Road following the incident.
Road policing sergeant Chris Murray thanked residents for their patience while the crash investigation is carried out.
He said: "Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the motorcycle prior to the incident is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 0831 of June 29."
