Ben Doak has withdrawn from Scotland's Euro 2024 squad through injury and been replaced by Tommy Conway.

The Liverpool winger faced a race against time to be fit for the tournament - and looked to have won it after being drafted into Steve Clarke's provisional selections.

However, the Scottish FA have revealed he will now not be fit for the tournament.

Bristol City striker Tommy Conway has been called in as a replacement.

Clarke was already on the hunt for an extra attacking option after Lyndon Dykes was ruled out of the Euros over the weekend.

The Australian-born forward landed awkwardly on his ankle in training last week.

Conway scored 12 goals for English Championship side Bristol City last season - and was on the scoresheet during Scotland under-21's defeat to Turkey on Monday night.

A Scottish FA statement read: "Ahead of Friday's match against Finland, Steve Clarke has called Tommy Conway into his squad.

"Sadly, Ben Doak has been withdrawn from the #EURO2024 squad through injury. Ben – we know we'll see you entertaining crowds at Hampden in a Scotland shirt soon."
