Belladrum Festival Kicks Off In Inverness

The Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival is getting underway in the Highlands today.

Scots legends ‘The Proclaimers’ will kick things off at the site outside Beauly this evening.

It’s the 12th year in a row the events been run, however this year is the first time a third night of entertainment is being laid on.

Around 18 thousands revellers have flooded into the north for the music extravaganza.

This year’s line-up also includes the likes of ‘The Manic Street Preachers’ and indie rockers ‘The Kaiser Chiefs.’
