The Belladrum Tartan Heart festival falls foul of the pandemic for a second year
2021's Belladrum Festival has been postponed, as organisers say on-going uncertainty with the pandemic has made it hard to plan for this Summer's event.
They say to postpone two years in a row is a "tough blow" but thank everyone for their support for the festival.
Organisers have welcomed the progress in the vaccine programme - and the signs that there's light at the end of a "very long tunnel", but they feel there are still too many uncertainties.
Any potential restrictions could limit plans and they say they don’t want to deliver an event they aren’t proud, or a festival which would compromise in any way.
Organisers say they know the decision won’t please everyone, but it’s made with our whole community in mind.
2020 saw a virtual event and once again they will be offering all 2021 ticket holders the option to transfer tickets to next year.
