Arrest over drugs haul and alleged hit and run in Inverness

A man has been arrested and charged with drug offences and in connection with an alleged hit and run in Inverness. of drugs seized in a police raid.

Officers recovered £45,000 worth of cannabis and cocaine from a property in the Merkinch area on Saturday.

A 32-year-old man has been charged over the find and is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday.

He has also been charged with road traffic offences over a collision with a moped on Harbour Road in Inverness on Saturday.
