Appeal following vandalism of car in Forres
Police in Moray are appealing for information after a car was vandalised in Forres.
Officers received a report of grey paint being thrown over a white BMW 6 Series in Califer Road, causing more than ÂŁ800 worth of damage.
It is believed the vandalism occurred between 3am and 8am on Monday, 10 February.
PC Lisa Warren of Forres Police Station said: "This would appear to be a targeted attack, with a potential case of mistaken identity and an unrelated car damaged.
"Anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area, or who has information about this, is urged to contact 101 and quote incident 0567 of 11 February, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
