Ally McCoist appears in Dumfries court in M74 speeding case
TV and sports personality Ally McCoist made a brief appearance in a court accused of failing to give information to the police.
The 56-year-old was accused of failing to give information to the police that might have led to the identification of the driver of a car which is alleged to have been committing a speeding offence on the M74 near Beattock on January 13 last year.
The former Rangers boss stood in the dock as his solicitor submitted a plea of not guilty at the Justice of the peace Court in Dumfries.
The case will continue on January 15
