Alcohol and jewellery stolen from Nairn home

Police in Nairn are appealing for information after an "unusual" break-in in Sutors Park.

Entry was forced to the property, which was unoccupied at the time, sometime between 9.35am and 10pm on Thursday 17th January .

A quantity of jewellery and alcohol was stolen during the incident.

Constable Graham Prentice said: "This is an unusual incident in Nairn and our enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible.

"I would ask anyone who believes they may have seen any suspicious activity around the area on Thursday to get in touch.

"It may be something which seemed inconsequential at the time but it may be of assistance to our investigation so please come forward if you think you may be able to help.
