Academy Street Fire 'Not Suspicious'
An inquiry in the blaze in Inverness City Centre has concluded.
A shop fire which closed off Inverness City Centre for almost 2 weeks is not thought to be suspicious, according to police.
Inquiries into the M&Co blaze on Academy Street have concluded.
The building was destroyed by a major fire on Wednesday 15th April.
Work to secure the remains of the site are ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: "The inquiry into the Academy Street building fire has been concluded.
"We don't suspect any suspicious circumstances and there were no obvious signs of criminality."
Traffic was allowed through yesterday for the first time after the road was partially reopened.
