A woman has died following a two-car crash on the A9 in the Highlands.
A woman has died following a two-car crash on the A9 in the Highlands.
The collision happened at Dalwhinnie at about 10.50am.
Police Scotland said a female travelling in one of the vehicles died and there were injuries among the occupants of the other car. The passengers in the other vehicle (two adults and two children) were treated at the scene.
A police statement said: "Drivers are thanked for their patience during the road closure"
