7-year-old boy in hospital after being knocked down in Inverness
He's been transferred to Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital
A seven year old boy has been seriously injured in a road accident.
He was hit by a white Kia Sportage on Thornbush Road just before midday on Sunday, and taken to Raigmore Hospital.
He's since been transferred to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh for further treatment.
The road was closed for eight hours to let police investigate - and they want to speak to any potential witnesses, or anyone who might have dashcam footage.
