A drugs bust in Elgin's led to £25,000 of cocaine being kept off the street.

Police searched a house, under warrant, in the Hossack Drive area on Friday and a 31-year-old woman's been charged in relation to being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

She's due to appear in court later.

Chief Inspector Stewart Mackie said: "We are continuing the proactive work to make Moray a hostile environment for those involved in the illegal supply of drugs. A number of persons have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal this year.

"I would like to thank the community for their continued support and assistance when it comes to tackling the supply of illegal drugs.

"We will continue to take enforcement action and disrupt the activity of those bringing unwanted drugs into our communities. I would encourage anyone with information to contact us."
