A 20-year-old driver has died following a two-car crash in the Highlands.

A 20-year-old driver has died following a two-car crash in the Highlands.

Angus Plowman was travelling on the A832 Avoch to Munlochy road on the Black Isle when the collision happened at around 11am on Monday.

Mr Plowman, from Fortrose, was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness but died from his injuries.

The occupants of the other vehicle were not seriously hurt, police said.

The crash happened around two and a half miles east of the Munlochy junction, near Rosehaugh.
