The TV Choice Awards are back with a second virtual ceremony this awards season.

The popular awards, which celebrate their 25th anniversary this year, honour the nation’s favourite TV shows and stars, voted purely by an audience of 600,000+ TV fans.

This year’s winners will be announced online at www.tvchoicemagazine.co.uk in early September giving TV fans the chance to watch the reactions of the winning programmes and stars in categories ranging from drama to comedy, entertainment to factual and of course, our much-loved soaps.

2020 saw Martin Clunes win Best Actor for the first time, with Jodie Comer’s Villanelle winning her Best Actress two years in a row. And first wins for The Martin Lewis Money Show, Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad and Best New Drama White House Farm, starring Freddie Fox were celebrated. Classic dramas Call The Midwife and Peaky Blinders also added to their awards success. Coronation Street scored triple success last year with Best Soap Actor, Best Soap Actress and Best Soap! Will EastEnders and Emmerdale be able to knock them off the top spot in 2021? Only the viewers can decide who’ll be celebrating in September.

Over the last year, TV has remained a vital source of entertainment, with many discovering new genres and ways of watching TV than ever before.
